Which airlines fly to Armenia?
FlyOne Armenia, the national airline established in 2021, flies to more than twenty destinations across the CIS, Europe and the Middle East, according to its own website. Wizz Air has a base at Zvartnots, according to Armenia’s infrastructure minister. In April 2026 the same minister said 48 airlines had flown to 70 destinations the year before, and that direct Yerevan to London flights were planned for 2026. Check whether those flights have started before you plan around them.
Many European and Gulf airlines have served Yerevan over the years, but schedules change often, so search live fares on your dates rather than relying on a fixed list.
How do you get from Zvartnots Airport to the city?
- Taxi or app taxi: the usual choice at the arrivals exit. Agree the fare or book through an app before you get in.
- Bus: buses run between the airport and central Yerevan. Check current routes and times on arrival.
- Hotel pickup: ask your accommodation to arrange a ride. The US State Department says informal unmetered taxis can be difficult if the price is not negotiated in advance, and it reports occasional harassment of solo women by taxi drivers.
- Car hire: rental desks are available at the airport. The State Department says roads can be in poor condition and advises against night driving.
How do you reach Gyumri and other cities?
Gyumri is about 120 km from Yerevan, roughly 2 hours by road. Trains, marshrutkas and drivers are all options, so check current timetables. Armenia is small, so most domestic trips are by road rather than by air.
Can you travel to Armenia overland?
