GlobeNavo helps travelers plan trips through destination guides, visa information, travel tips and carefully selected travel deals. This page explains the standards we follow, how we research our guides and deals, and how we make money. You can also read more about GlobeNavo.
Our standards
- Useful first. We write to help you decide and plan, not to sell you a trip.
- Honest about the downsides. We include costs, crowds, heat, scams and practical problems, not only the highlights.
- Clear about what can change. Prices, visa rules and opening hours move quickly, and we say so.
- Plain language. We avoid exaggerated claims and unexplained jargon.
How we research our guides
For rules and facts that matter, such as entry requirements, fees, ticket prices and transport details, we start with official sources: government and immigration websites, tourism boards, airlines, rail operators and the attractions themselves. We use recent news and reputable travel publications to cross-check, and we treat figures from a single unofficial site with caution. Where sources disagree, or where a number is only an estimate, we say so in the text instead of presenting it as certain.
Daily budgets and typical prices in our guides are rough ranges to help you plan. They are not quotes, and they change with the season.
Use of AI tools: Some of our guides are drafted with the help of AI tools. Facts that matter, such as entry rules, fees and ticket prices, are checked against official or reputable sources where possible, and we correct errors when we find them.
Keeping guides up to date
Every destination guide shows a “Last updated” date near the top. When we learn about an important change, such as a new entry system, a fee increase or a closed attraction, we update the guide and the date. Visa and entry rules in particular change often, so always confirm them with the official government source or your airline before you travel.
Independence from partners
Some of the links on GlobeNavo are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you book through them, at no additional cost to you. Partners do not write or approve our guides, and we do not accept payment to change what a guide says about a place. Deals appear in clearly labeled deals sections. Read our full Affiliate Disclosure.
How we research deals
The deals on GlobeNavo come from travel partners such as airlines, hotel and booking platforms, tour operators, car rental, eSIM, travel insurance and vacation package providers. Before we list an offer, we look at:
- whether the partner is a recognised travel brand with clear terms;
- whether the offer fits the category it appears in (hotels, flights, car rental, eSIM, insurance or packages);
- whether the link works and takes you to the partner’s own site;
- whether the description is accurate and not misleading.
What we do not do: We do not check live prices or availability, and we do not guarantee that an offer, discount or coupon will work for your dates or location. Offers can end or change at any time. Some “Get Coupon” links lead to third-party coupon pages, and codes there may expire. We remove or update listings when we find that they no longer work.
Before you pay, check the final price, fees, cancellation rules and conditions on the partner’s website, and consider travel insurance for expensive trips.
Corrections and feedback
We make mistakes, and travel information goes out of date. If you spot an error or have a tip from your own trip, please tell us through our contact page. When we confirm a problem, we correct it and update the date on the page.
